Conservation of Biodiversity in the Balkan Region within Sustainable Development principles and in Climate Change conditions

Ministries responsible for the Environment from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia as well as representatives from donor community, implementing agencies and Embassies present in the country attended the regional conference supported by the Italian Ministry for Environment, Land and Sea and signed the "Declaration for Joint Regional Action for Biodiversity conservation in the Balkan and neighbouring regions with Sustainalbe Development Principles and in Climate Change Conditions".

The study was undertaken by the Department of Forestry Science and Environment of the
University of Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy) together with the University of Cyril and Methodius of
Skopje (Faculty of Agricultural Science and Food and Faculty of Forestry).
